Surgery. New Years..Six months and counting...

Hello DA friends! It has been a long time since I have been here looking at art or posting. So remember in November how I was complaining about my back well after four chiropractor appts with no relief. About 3 days after my last appt, my ribs and stomach were in immense pain. The next morning I went to work thinking it was nothing except the pain got worse luckily my employer understood because there were at least two days where I got off work bc of back pain.

    I went home a little dizzy spell. Telling my mom to please drive me to the clinic bc my ribs back and stomach were hurting and I didn't think this was just my ribs being out. I went to the clinic got blood tested after my mother had to wait two hours. The doctor came back with the lab results. My liver enzymes were very high. The doctor said she was 99% it was my gallbladder. So I got rushed to the ER to get ultrasound to make sure it was my gallbladdder. Took seven times of being poked to get the IV in. They gave me a strong pain med through IV it hit me like a rock=. I was thinking why would people want to do this for fun.The results of the the test was indeed I had gallstones and needed to go into surgery asap.Couldn't get into surgery until the morning so had to spend the night at the hospital. The next morning around 10 or so I was wheeled into surgery and I told them that pain meds make me sick  so anyways gave me that knocked me out for surgery bc all I remember is being transfered to the table.
    So the first two nights were the worse pain I;ve ever had in my life probably not even close topain of child birth but pretty bad. It was a five hour surgery bc I had gallstones so bad they were impacted in the main bile duct, they had to cut it out the old way by cutting me open I have a nice 2 inch scar . So it was a blessing we went to the clinic when we did bc if I had left it it would have become more impacted and burst, it would have been five to six months in the hospital rather than 7 days. So I got to eat nothing but jello and crackers for the first three days and then got to eat soup which I really hate hospital food. Gradually got stronger and went on walks even though it was painful I still pushed myself to walk.

    I got out Christmas morning celebrated with my family and my fiance. Well since it is another year, I am happy to be alive and 2014 had some struggles but made it thorough. For 2015 I'll not make resolutions rather lifestyle changes - eat healthy, exercise, love and laugh more, worry less, spend time on relationships with friends, family and God. 

   Got sick right not that long after I was feeling better eh great hate colds but getting a little better. Returned to work after two weeks of recovering from surgery.  It is crazy in 6 MONTHS I am getting married! Lots of stuff to do before then and haven't even started!!!!
